Has God Himself not told us He has created "worlds without number?" We are members and friends of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints* world-wide ('Mormons') who are involved in helping the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence with our own computers.

SETI@home is a scientific experiment that harnesses the power of hundreds of thousands of Internet connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). To survey as much of the sky as possible, the experiment will run for two years. The SETI web site will be updated regularly with progress reports, and explanations of the results found so far.

You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data. The experiment is the first of its kind in history, and thousands of people have joined "groups" of others who share ET enthusiasm at home, on the job, or in their social clubs to promote the efforts of the search.

We have formed a group of LDS SETI enthusiasts,
and invite you to join us! There's a small but captivating possibility that your computer will detect the faint murmur of a civilization beyond Earth.
